چکیده
The role of arguments in solving mathematical problems is very important. Students must use valid and concepts that have been learned the Probability Theory material to build their arguments. An argument can be analyzed using Toulmin scheme. Therefore, purpose this study describe built based on Argumentation Model. instrument used collect data a test question related material. Of 32 students who worked questions, three were selected as research subjects. selection subjects ability students' level working questions. It was found construct an starting with correct data. However, they did not give any Warrant even Claim argument. This makes by invalid

Assisting students with argumentation plans when solving problems in CSCL
In CSCL systems, students who are solving problems in group have to negotiate with each other by exchanging proposals and arguments in order to resolve the conflicts and generate a shared solution. In this context, argument construction assistance is necessary to facilitate reaching to a consensus. This assistance is usually provided with isolated arguments by demand, but this does not offer st...
متن کاملA Computational Approach for Generating Toulmin Model Argumentation
Automatic generation of arguments is an important task that can be useful for many applications. For instance, the ability to generate coherent arguments during a debate can be useful when determining strengths of supporting evidence. However, with limited technologies that automatically generate arguments, the development of computational models for debates, as well as other areas, is becoming...
متن کاملmortality forecasting based on lee-carter model
over the past decades a number of approaches have been applied for forecasting mortality. in 1992, a new method for long-run forecast of the level and age pattern of mortality was published by lee and carter. this method was welcomed by many authors so it was extended through a wider class of generalized, parametric and nonlinear model. this model represents one of the most influential recent d...
15 صفحه اولOn the Acceptability of Arguments in Preference-based Argumentation
Argumentation is a promising model for reasoning with uncertain and inconsistent knowledge. The key concept of acceptability enables to differentiate arguments and defeaters: The certainty of a proposition can then be evaluated through the most acceptable arguments for that proposition. In this paper, we investigate different complementary points of view: an acceptability based on the existence...
متن کاملAssessing Arguments in the Abstract: Some Problems with Argumentation Frameworks
Argumentation frameworks are logic systems that assess collections of conflicting arguments generated from a set of potentially inconsistent factual and rule-based premises. Argumentationframeworks weredevelopedinresponsetocriticisms that traditional formal logic did not do justice to the adversarial nature of legal reasoning, and that it ignored the problems caused by the ambiguity of language...
